Geopanes Science in the Bag
This week we are focusing on the M of STEAM - Math
In your science in the bag you have enough spice drops (don't eat them before you do this :))and toothpicks to make a cube and a 3-dimensional triangle. Have fun creating them. You can create other shapes if you would like. Have mom and dad help you prepare a dish soap and water solution. Put a string around the one corner of the shape and dip it into the soapy mixture. Slowly bring it out of the water.
What do you see? What happens when you blow on it? Does a round bubble appear or a square one? Try different shapes as suggested on your attached paper. Most of all experiment, observe and have fun! Record your comments here as well for others to see.
